As one who never has and never will mark up a paper Bible, I find the idea of notes as marginal annotations meaningless - both in pen or in computer. Nor do I find the "word processor" image any more helpful; it implies more finished, external product. May we change to the image of sticky notes - they come in also sorts of colors and sizes and you can put just about anything on them.
