UK purchase
I live in the UK. I am an established bible teacher and lecturer. I am for the first time diving in to Logos. I plan to buy the new Logos 8. Do I just buy it from the US or is there a UK distributor. Ive discovered a site in the US that gives a 10% discount. Is there any better???

The only distribution channel is via Logos in the US.
Depending on what you are looking to purchase it may be worth contacting someone on their sales team - see https://www.logos.com/contact - particularly if you are intending to purchase multiple packages. They can help you work out the best way of doing this.

Hi John,
I'm in the UK and the sales team in the US are very helpful to us over here :-) Because of the time difference they are on line in the afternoon and evening which for me is very convent. If you look at base packages etc. there will be a chat window that you can get to by clicking on the small floating window :-) . You can configure the logos website to give you prices in £ which is good - but I usually get charged a little bit more by my card supplier for the transfer from GBP to USD.
If you want to study God's word then Logos is a fantastic resource. It is extremely powerful :-)

I too live in the UK (Corby Northamptonshire). If I am phoning Faithlife I tend to use Skype as the call costs considerably less and it seems to work well.
I note that you say you are a 'lecturer' if you are involved in an educational institution then you might ask about the 'Academic Discount'. Also note that some credit cards eg Nationwide (conditions though) allow international purchases with no commission.
Why not download Logos Basic from the Web Site and give it a road test for free? An upgrade to Starter is very cheap.
Once you are hooked you will be buying resources regularly. Logos is a very powerful tool.

John - I don't know exactly where you are in the process of purchasing Logos and Mike's suggestion of Basic to get a feel for Logos is a good one.
But please be aware that Basic is currently based on Logos 7 and some of the details / interfaces / functionality has changed in Logos 8.
Just trying to avoid you spending too much time learning one way of working and then have to adjust to Logos 8 when you move to that.
