Copying and pasting to Word for Mac

Greetings Logos friends,

I have been advised to post my problem in the forum to see if anybody has also been experiencing a problem with accents when copying and pasting from Logos to Word for Mac.

When I copy a Biblical passage in Logos from a French version of the Scriptures and paste it into Word for Mac all the accents over e or a or u get all messed up (éèàêù...) It looks something like this:

"Nous sommes tous
comme des impurs, Et toute notre justice est comme un vÍtement souillÈ; Nous
sommes tous flÈtris comme une feuille, Et nos crimes nous emportent comme le
vent. ⁶Il n’y a personne qui invoque ton nom, Qui se rÈveille pour
s’attacher ‡ toi: Aussi nous as-tu cachÈ ta face, Et nous laisses-tu pÈrir par
l’effet de nos crimes."

When I did copy from Logos and paste to TextEdit I experienced no problem.

Any ideas (apart from pasting to TextEdit and then copying/pasting to Word) ?

In the past Word has been the reason for font issues, but it seems it works fine in the windows version, and other pieces of French text translates fine to Word on the Mac. So I am going to write up a bug for this. Thanks for the heads up

If it is a bible you are copying out of using Copy Bible Verses should work for you. I noticed that using that gave me correctly formatted text. What book are you trying to copy from?

I did try the command 'Copy Bible Verses' and it worked well with the accents in the right places. When I try to copy from the Louis Segond French Bible by highlighting and using the Mac shortcut for copy and then pasting in Word it does not work. To date I have not tried to copy and paste our of any other book or work in French. I have only tried to copy and paste passages from the French Bible.

Will this fix the same issue with Spanish resources? Pasting into Word changes all special characters in Spanish (accents), while pasting into Pages works fine.
