A Theology of the Temple

Does anyone have any recommendations on books/articles/etc on the temple. I just picked up Heaven on Earth: The Temple in Biblical Theology. I am going to read through it, but it has me wanting to look at this topic more fully. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I enjoyed David Levy's "The Tabernacle, Shadows of the Messiah." He covers the predecessor to the temple, the tabernacle and also the sacrificial system and the priesthood, and makes connections with Christ. It is a good first book on the subject, I think.

Read Beale's Book "The Temple and the Church's Mission" in the NSIBT series- it brings the Temple into its true perspective.

I second that or third that. Beale changed my mind on temple theology and gave me a whole new way of viewing that.

No, but they came up on Amazon when I did a search on "Two Powers in Heaven." She's got a related book called "The Great Angel." That's when I just happened to notice by clicking on that book that she also had books on temple theology. So now her books are on my list of things to explore in the future.

I suggested her because her author profile on Logos.com explicitly states that Temple Theology is her area of focus.
