L4 went down in the background to other apps. It had been started but not used.

We'll review the logs.
Update: This is the same error that you reported in February. At that time, the developers felt there was a conflict with other software or hardware. I had temporarily installed Microsoft Security Essentials to test, but could not reproduce the problem, however, we could have had a difference in configuration.
If this reoccurs, I recommend removing all non-essential programs from startup* using the System Configuration Utility (msconfig), restarting your computer, opening Logos 4, then using the same programs that were open when the crash has occurred previously. (*You could also try booting into safe mode, although, you would be working offline in that mode.) This may help us to discover and eliminate possible conflicts.
Hi Melissa,
I have since February, wiped and reloaded to a clean system, checked the computer via a stress test (as per Bradley's instructions) and it has come up clean. I have removed some MS apps from the start up items, but only time will tell. I very rarely find that L4 goes down in the background. So it is difficult to ascertain what is behind it. FYI I generally have running with L4 the following: Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office. Perhaps, there may be a conflict with either of these. Although, I have some suspictions about MSE. Do you know of any issues surrounding MSE? Thanks.

I run MSE in Win 7 and XP and have had no issues that could be attributed to a program clash (includes running with FF 3.x, L3, Outlook 2003 & 2007).

I didn't have any problems when testing with MSE installed, however, I wasn't using it in a real world situation. Thanks Dave H for letting us know it's not a problem on your system.
One other question for David M ~ When this occurs, do you know whether anything is open in Logos 4 -- certain layout or home page?
I run a minimal system layout. Please see attached image. I rarely, if ever, open the home page.
