Dictionary in Canvas
Hello,
Is there a possibility to change the dictionary for Info Cards in Canvas?
The Lexham Dictionary is of very little use, because it doesn't provide a translation or word definition.
Sometimes my BDAG is shown, but I don't how to make this the default lexicon.

Initially I thought these were based on how user prioritization. I have not really used the info crds feature much. When I tested it, it appears to be random. If I click a word I get Vine's. When click another word I might get an article from the NLT, or ISBE, or something else. It almost appears to be random.
There is not currently a setting for this that users can control.

Hi folks,
Changing your resource priorities is the best way of changing what that does.
The Word Dictionary Info Card currently looks up the selected word/language as a headword, and finds the best result. This is what happens when you select "Lookup" from a resource context menu (or double-click a word in a resource).
It can certainly be a variety of resources, depending on whether preferred resources have a matching headword entry. For example, you might see the ISBE when you click "beginning", but the Oxford English Dictionary when you click a more generic word like "in".
Hope that helps,
David

Problem not solved for me.
Because I'm working with 8.3. beta 1 I posted the question in the beta thread.
