Hmm. Strange. Mine updated right away.
Just because it's easy to do, check your About screen (Help>About Logos Bible Software), and make sure it didn't update in some sneaky way. and that your update channel is really is set to beta.
If that's all as expected, then I'm at a loss.
Yes and yes, BUT I also discovered that it won't sync, so now we're getting somewhere.
Edit: Also, a certain other Bible program also sees no updates, and I know it has some. Perhaps I'm having an odd firewall problem, but that really does make it seem like it's on my end.
Any way to download the .exe?
Have you verified that "Use Internet" is set to Yes in the Program Settings window?

Internet is set to ON. Here's the odd thing. I can download that exe just fine, but when I .run it, as a Logos program, it can't connect and sees no files. It's like something is blocking Logos alone
There's no way to download the beta exe directly, one has to go through the installer that then downloads it.
