Location of mobile Ed media
Hiya
Does anyone know if it is possible to change the location that logos stores mobile ed videos ? I am using an ssd for logos to speed things up but I don't want to completely fill it with videos. Is it possible to somehow configure logos so it stores my library on the SSD and mobile ed videos on my normal drive ?
Thanks

I do not think Logos has a way to do it, but you could store the videos on your HDD and create a symlink on the SSD. Symlinks work like shortcuts, so Logos would open C:/Logos/coolvideo.mp4 and your computer would automatically convert that to /Logos/coolvideo.mp4. It is not ideal (I wish Logos handled this gracefully, especially since split drives are so common), but would work.

I don't think so at present but the Beta version being tested at the moment has facilities for splitting ones library between the cloud and the device.
I just had a look at one of my videos and found a prompt that should allow me to remove it from my desktop.
It looks like help for you is on the way. Don't be tempted to try the Beta unless you have an alternative installation to fall back on. At the moment there is little complaint with Beta 3 but Beta 4 might just make everything go pear shaped.

Thanks Justin/Mike
I like the idea of redirecting a directory. I did this a while ago when I was on an old surface so I redirected my whole library to an micro SD card :-) I'll have to good how to do this again but I don't think it was very complicated.
Thanks as well Mike, I've done Beta testing in the past but I think I'll take your advice and keep clear of it at the moment :-) It is great to hear Faithlife are looking into this though.
