Isn't that a function of the first setting in the Settings panel (Automatically Download Updates | Yes/No)?
I now see it's there, how long has it been there?

Yes, I also used to have it set for the automatic download before and after installing the Beta it changed the setting to NO. I put it back to automatic. I like it better. Sorry [:)]

And here I was enjoying a newly found feature, only to realize that I have been smote upon by an unruly beta...
The bug that caused the "Automatically download updates" setting to be disabled will be fixed in Beta 3.
