How do I export my library catalogue
In Logos seven and lower you could do a print or export of your logos library, I do not see either option in Logos 8.

If you're talking about a Bibliography reflecting your entire library, then
1. Create a new Bibliography document in the Docs tab
2. Select Add
3. Select Collection
4. Select All Resources (Should be the first item in the Collections menu)
If you're talking about something else, please explain

Another option:
Open up the Library and apply any filtering you want so you see a list of the resources you desire.
Select the three vertical dots on the right to see the Panel Menu.
From there select Print/Export (you can't print anything, but you can export)
In that dialog, select one of the options on the right to either Paste into Open Excel or Send to New Document.
You will see 23 columns populated with data.

Thank you. I had tried the three dots, but had no export option, until I had the library in a floating window. Thank you very much for the help. I am trying to create an access data base, adding the Dewey Decimal system and Library of Congress numbers to my file. Will take a long time to do. Some of the books have the info on them. Some I can get from the Library of Congress site and some are not so easy. Got thirty six done, about forty seven hundred to go. about eight, I think I do not have the information for, so that means twenty six are completed.

The Excel export gives the basic file information, then I can add the remainder of the information I want to it, importing it into the Access data base or just keeping it as an excel database.

Fred,
I've been trying to create a simple list of titles and authors of the books in my library in a document format. I tried using the method you suggest, but didn't get very far. When I open the docs tab I have no "add" option. [^o)] (Logos 8 BTW) I tried the export route, but that generated way more information than I want. I tried selecting just the Title and author fields to print, but I had no success there either. (I'm not fluent in Excel) I didn't think this was going to be such a project. Any suggestions?

Hi Ted
Ted S said:I tried using the method you suggest, but didn't get very far. When I open the docs tab I have no "add" option. (Logos 8 BTW)
The user interface changed in Logos 8 - try opening the New dropdown menu and selecting Bibliography
Then Fred's steps from his earlier post should give you what you want

Thanks Graham and Fred. It DID give me exactly what I wanted. I got 'er done!
It didn't seem like a difficult task, and in the end it wasn't. All I needed to do was have someone tell me what to do. [:S]
I'm amazed at the size of the library. I've had Logos for many years and just never seemed to have the time to take some of the classes. I'm probably using a tiny percentage of the system.
It will be like Christmas morning, discovering all the resources I didn't know I had.

The floating library window did not have 3 dots. The documents > new only allowed canvas, passage list and sermon. I am using the web logos. How do I get a library list in that version. Thank you. Conrad

I don't think this is possible in the web app.
