How do I identify all resources that are tagged to appear in the Music Guide Section?

Using the entire range of scripture passages, I identified the following resources as labeled for the Music section:

I'm actually very pleased with the resources that were prioritized, but this list should be incomplete as some hymn would be tagged by theme rather than scripture reference.

  1. How do I find all the resources tagged?
  2. Why is there no documentation, no tagging appears in the context menu, and I can find no search function on the attributes? I do find search capabilities for Faithlife Music ...

I have more than 200 resources that should appear in this section. I would like to be able to add them manually as we can for sermons. At the moment the feature brings more frustration than joy as it had been "promised" in some form for many years.

There's doesn't appear to be any tagging for this section. I suspect it's a simple Bible search within particular resources. It looks like you're essentially doing a <Gen-Rev> search in a special "collection", and then sorting by Resource.

I suspect that getting a list of all the resources in this "collection" is simply a matter of finding all the books that have the trait feature:song-lyrics. This isn't possible within the software (despite a long-standing request). I try and maintain a database of all the traits of every Logos resource, although it's not 100% complete. The titles in my database are:

    1. Divine Eros: Hymns of St Symeon the New Theologian
    2. El himnario bautista de la gracia
    3. Himnario: Celebremos su gloria
    4. Hymns and Scripture Selection Guide
    5. Hymns of Ter Steegen, Suso, and Others
    6. Hymns of the Reformation
    7. Logos Hymnal
    8. Our Own Hymn Book: A Collection of Psalms and Hymn...
    9. The Harp of Glory: Enzira Sebhat: An Alphabetical ...
    10. The Hymnal Companion to the Book of Common Prayer ...
    11. The Hymns on Faith
    12. The Most Holy Mother of God: In the Songs of the Eastern Church
    13. The Psalms and Hymns of Isaac Watts

Your list adds the Logos Hymnal Media Resource, which doesn't have the trait. Perhaps that's a special case?

Thank you Mark. I may need to reinstall the SQLLite Workbench ...

Don't bother. The search doesn't rely on resource traits.

Instead it uses a search that is similar to a media search, combined with a proximity search in order to pick up references contained in the image caption. This is required because the old resources (possibly newer ones too, but definitely the old ones) with these results do not have tagging directly on the image. Unfortunately, this search can't be replicated in the search tool, because it relies on internal features of the search engine that are not exposed in the search tool.

I don't know of a way to find all the resources without doing what you are doing (run a guide on the entire Bible) and tagging resources that you find.

Thank you Andrew - that gives me another piece of the puzzle. Does that mean even the resources that have only texts not images are given caption information?
