Crash: Beta 2, search open resources

Discovered by accident. Opened a basic search, ran a search, switched to Open Resources (meant to do entire library), program crashed. I had no resources open so I'm guessing this caused the crash? Search does not crash if I have resources open.

I can reproduce this at will by opening just a search pane (nothing else open; enetering a search term and selecting "open resources" for the search range.

I recongize it would not make sense to try and search "open resources" that do not exist; but the user should not be punished with a crash; just return 0 results.

If that is the case, Melissa says it will be fixed in Beta 3

I think it's a different issue. In my case an index exists, indexing is complete, but the program has no open resources to search. Should be an easy fix, I'm sure they'll get it in the next beta.

The error is slightly different. I'll submit to development.

Update: The errors were related and will be fixed in Beta 3.
