Bookmarks non Logos files

I just learned about Bookmarks today while working through the awesome Training Library at mpseminarsonline.com. I have been able to use them successfully with both Logos books and with websites. However, I am unable to open bookmarks set for Pages or Numbers documents. I set the bookmarks by dragging/dropping the files from the Finder window on my MacBook Air. It appears the bookmarks are set but I am unable to open the files by using the bookmarks. I tried cmd-3, clicking on the bookmark and right-clicking on it. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I have a similar question.  Is it possible to bookmark a non-Logos PDF file?  I am working on a Mac running Mac OS Big Sur 11.1.
