Logos/Surface Go Read Aloud feature
I am considering upgrading my tablet to the Surface Go, and have read about the performance. How smoothly does the read aloud feature work? My commutes would be awesome if I could listen to my Logos Library. Thanks! DP

I can't answer your question, but I would think fiddling with Logos would be a fairly dangerous thing to do while driving.

If you have an iPhone, there is a setting in the accessibility options that will enable Speak Screen. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech and enable it. Then, you swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to enable it. I use it all the time at the gym. It works great.

Absolutely, I set the book before I leave the drive way, and listen on the drive, Once set, I leave it be until I arrive. I find it more relaxing then music,
In VA, they have made it illegal to hold your phone this year, and I think it was well overdue.

I am an Android user, and we have no such feature that I am aware of,
Thanks for supporting my wife's argument why I should join her on team iPhone,
Warmest Regards,

I listen to books all the time. Some non-Logos alternatives:
- Hoopla (free subscription through my library) allows me to “check out” 3 books per month, no restrictions.
- Overdrive / Libby: (free subscription through my library) allows me to “check out” an unlimited number of books per month. If a book is being used by someone else, I have to place a “hold” on it.
- Audible: Sometimes there are steep discounts for users who own the kindle version. Most are not like this, but some Crazy good deals: Buy the Kindle book on sale (Free-$2.99), get the audible version for $1.99

Of course you should, [:)]
In all seriousness, there may be android equivalents. The feature on iOS is hidden and is intended to assist blind users.

The Windows 10 system narrator is pretty smooth, so if your Surface Go has Windows 10 you should be fine. I remember the Windows 7 system narrator was horrible and unintelligible. I use the Windows 10 system narrator all the time with the Read Aloud feature all the time. I'm just not sure about whether Surface Go has the full version of Windows 10 or some streamlined version of Windows.
