What features/datasets did I just get?

Reviewing what resources one has just acquired is relatively easy from the library pane. However, is there a convenient way to know what features or datasets may have just been added? When one is looking at a package, the new to you drop-down menu shows them. But what about after? If one wants to remember what is new (for the purpose for instance, of testing the new features/datasets), how does one recover this info?

I don't think that there is a way to do that right now, but according to 8.3 Beta Release Notes they are adding that functionality back in the next update.

- Known Issue: Large lists of updated resources can cause the application to freeze when clicking on the notification.

Thomas, I agree! I always followed this kind of detail in the past versions and I really missed it in Logos 8. Yes, I am the kind of person that reads install logs or follows the console screen on systems the gives detail on exactly what is happening on the system. In the old days I used to watch the light panel display patterns when the IBM 1130 booted. Old habits are just hard to break.

Can you clarify where this is from? Is this from the home page? The library?

It would be good if this is not just something we see on the spot but that we can consult at will. Just like we can check when a resource was last updated in the library, so it would be good to be able to do the same with datasets and features.

I know we can see the last update from the help about screen but the way it is presented there is not convenient to quickly find and see what one wants to see.

You get it by clicking on the blue circle that appears when new resources are added (like it was in L7). Once you've dismissed the list by clicking close (the cross), there's no way to get it back. So you should only click 'close' once you've digested the information.
