Mobil Ed
Over the last several years, I have bought a few Mobile Ed courses. Now, I want to begin using them, but have no idea where to find them in Logos 8.
When I go to the Tools menu and open the courses tab, I get a listing on the multiple hundreds of available, unavailable, author, level, etc.
On the available to you tab, 116 plans are available. I really do not want to scroll through 116 courses to find the 8 or 10 Mobile Ed courses I purchases.
Is there a place I can find a list of only the Mobile Ed courses I have purchased and a way to open a course I want to study?
Can you point me to a brief tutorial on using the various courses or at least tell me where to begin.

Hiya Chuck and welcome :-)
There are a couple of ways of accessing your mobile ed courses. The one I prefer is to use the "courses" tool. This can be found in the Tools menu and then the courses option. this allows you to select any course you want and will start you off. The course tool is ok if want to following the course in detail including the suggested readings. If you just want to watch the videos you can search out the courses in your library. In logos 8 click on the library and then in the left hand list select type and then courseware media or courseware textbook. You can also find the videos to the courses you have purchased in faithlife.tv. I like watching these sometimes because I can cast the picture onto my normal TV.

Filter by Courseware
And then the available section will just show you the Mobile Ed courses you have purchased

Is there any way to "promote" the Courseware button to either its own entry on the tools menu or the shortcut bar so that just my Mobile Ed course appear ?

If you find the course "icon" in the list and then right click it there is an option "Pin to Top". This places the icon in the top area of the tools menu. Also if you left click (and hold the left button) you can select the courses icon and drag it to the top icon bar.
Once you start a course the course seems to automatically appear on the logos home page as a tile. You can click the tile and the course opens up to where you left off.
If you haven't already had a look I would recommend you run a notebook along with the course so you can jot down what comes to you .. This webinar expalins the new note feature ..
