Logos 8 Basic *and* Verbum 8 Basic....
For those of us who already have Logos 8, it is still valuable to order "Basic" because you get resources you don't already have, albeit they are only a temporary license...but one that will probably last for years.
I tried checking the resources in Verbum 8 Basic, and found several rather fascinating ones that are not in my library.
I was wondering if we could order the Verbum Basic, and *just get the books*?
I am hesitant to try it because I don't want my software to change to Verbum if I do place the order.
Does anyone know for a fact just what would happen?

Verbum Basic would include some Catholic resources. If you have a Logos subscription, I think you would also get a Verbum subscription with monthly previews of Verbum books (check that one). Logos will not revert to a Verbum mode. Get the Verbum app if you wish for that!

Thank you, Dave.
I do get the free Verbum book of the month each time.
Okay, I bit the bullet and just ordered Verbum Basic, and received 159.3 mb d/l of resources. I am still Logos 8! :[:)]
The sky is still blue, and the grass is still green. LOL
Thanks a million!

Verbum is a different program. If you want Verbum, you have to download it separately, or use the no-longer-supported Set Verbum to Yes command in Logos. There is no other way of acquiring it on your computer.
(The Set Verbum to No command undoes the work of Set Verbum to Yes.)
