Print or export only highlights
Hallo,
Highlighting is a great way to summarize a whole book. I would like to export my summary (pdf) of print it. But I do not know how to do this. Does anyone have an answer?
I'm using the newest Logos 8.

Someone else may have a better way, but you could create notebook for the resource, then assign the highlights to that notebook, sort as desired and print or export the entire notebook.

You can Print to a PDF Printer and the file will preserve the highlights, but you have to print selected chapters of the book, not just the highlighted portions (the summary?).
Exporting from Notes, at best, shows the highlighted text, not the actual highlight. And I couldn't get it to display all the highlighted text in my resource, even when I selected them in Notes.

The tool designed for this is the Clippings tool. You make clippings (either instead of, or in addition to) highlights. You can then easily print/export the Clippings Document for that resource.
With the latest release/changes to the Notes tool, I haven't spent any time trying to discover it the same thing can be done through it; might be possible, but I've used the Clippings tool for so many years I doubt I'll change.

Bram, the capability is coming. It will be a great feature. It is on the list (the red arrow).
The features I've put a box around are in the 8.3 beta, so should be available in a few weeks for non-beta users. Once we can print or export notes, you can use the facet filter in the new notes tool to select Highlights, then drill down to a specific resource, display the highlights in that resource, and then export or print them.
