There are some courses listed in the Courseware tool on the history and writings of non-biblical figures (Athanasius, Arius, etc.). A few of these figures are listed in the filters (Arius), but most others are not (e.g. Athanasius).
The ones that appear are listed under Biblical Concepts. I don't know that I would call these people biblical concepts. Perhaps there should be a filter for Non-biblical People.
At the least these key figures should be classified in the filers, particularly if that is the main subject of the course.
