Customize supplied workflow?

I like the supplied workflows but I would like to make a few changes. I'm trying to avoid building a customized workflow from scratch.

Is it possible to make changes to any of the supplied workflows? If not, is it possible to copy a supplied workflow and then make changes? If not, are there any other ways that I can avoid building a workflow from scratch?

Currently that is not possible. The stock workflows cannot be edited by a user. If you want a custom workflow, you will have to design it yourself. The good news is that the stock workflows can serve as a template for your custom workflow. I would recommend reviewing all of the stock workflows you have access to, and considering combining elements into one process that suits you.

An alternative would be looking for custom workflows shared by other users. Perhaps someone has already done much of the work for you.

I believe the reason for this is because some of the stock workflows are actually paid features and not everyone would have them. So it prevents just editing, say the title, and sharing it.
