Question - why is the ESV not listed in the NASB 95 Visual Filter Drop Down?
I am attempting to see the corresponding highlights of the NASB in the ESV.

Are these visual filters that you have created? If so, we need to see the visual filter in order to see what you have applied the filter to:
OR
are you referring to this and asking why there is not symmetry in the references - we'd need to see notes with attachment points to know
If they are not user created, you need to provide more information or a screen shot so that we can see what you are talking about ...

I am not talking about that type of visual filter. Neither the ESV or the NASB 95 are filters created by the Visual Filter Document. They are notebooks created by highlighting in the two bibles. But for some reason the note book created by highlighting in the NASB 95 does not appear in the ESV drop down.
Again, the notebooks were created by highlighting in those Bibles.

Also, my drop down is titled; Notes and HIghlights IT IS NOT LISTED LIKE YOUR SCREEN SHOT; Notes and HIghlights (Corresponding) .
The Corresponding is not present.

The Corresponding Visual Filter was introduced in 8.3 beta 1. I assume you are running the stable 8.2 release

I understand that Corresponding Visual Filter's is 8.3. That doesn't answer the question as to why my visual filter drop down on the ESV shows both ESV and NASB 95 but my visual filter drop down on NASB 95 only shows NASB 95 and not ESV.

Okay, I now understand that you are speaking of displaying the note files icons/highlighting. - When you open your ESV, your notebook options include ESV and NASB 95. This says that there are notes in both notebooks that apply to the ESV. Your anchors should show this.
- When you open your NASB 95, your notebook options include only the NASB 95. This says that only the notebook NASB 95 has notes that apply to the NASB 95.
Put another way, it you ran through all the anchors in the notebooks.
- ESV has notes only for the ESV
- NASB 95 has notes for both the ESV and the NASB 94.

Thanks for the responses - I have and illustration - Corresponding Highlights
See attached.
Using Lexham English and NASB 95 - the NASB 95 appears in both drop downs but as can be seen in the attached the Corresponding Highlights do not work.
Page 78 of Logos Bible Software Training Manual, Volume 2 indicates it should.

Sorry but I'm still not following.
In your screenshot is the NASB on the right?
If so, what you are showing is a number of highlights that have been applied to that text specifically and they won't appear in other texts until the corresponding notes and highlights visual filter is available (8.3).
At which point the associated notebook should appear in the "Notes and Highlights (Corresponding)" section

First, the Logos Bible Software Training Manual applies to Logos 7. As you posted in Logos 8, I assume that you are using Logos 8. If you are running 8.2 there is no option for corresponding highlights - as you noted in your response to my first post. If you are running 8.3 beta then there is an option for corresponding highlights as I showed in my first post. I believe you are trying to use a feature that is not in your version of Logos ... unless I have misunderstood yet again.

M J and Graham, thanks for interacting with me. I am using Logos 8.2.
If I understand your responses I am presenting two questions.
1. Did corresponding highlights exist in Logos 7?
2. Why does my ESV list both ESV and NASB 95 in the drop down for Notes and Highlights and my NASB list only NASB 95.

1) Corresponding highlights did exist in Logos 7. It was not supported in the new Notes Tool when Logos 8 shipped but will be supported in 8.3.
2) Your NASB 95 notebook must contain either a note or highlight that is tied to the ESV.

Thanks Graham for helping me. I am attempting to find out what I did that enabled the ESV to have both note files but NASB doesn't.

If you filter the Notes Tool to just show the ESV resource - you should be shown at least two notebooks in the filter area (I just have one).
If you click the NASB notebook you should see which notes tied to the ESV are in the NASB resource

I have no scheme for highlighting and notebooks. I am getting the concepts slowly. If you have any suggestions I would value them.

Graham, with all the resources we have at our disposal I want to be efficient. What efficiency means to me is:
1. on any subject or biblical reference have the ability to glean through the resources identifying the information, thoughts, perspectives, historical understanding and doctrinal issues. As they are identified put that information in retrievable format, i.e., notes, clippings, tagging, etc.
2. be able retrieve such information quickly to support how I have grown in my understanding of the Bible, theology, and application of that to me personally, then to those God has called me to minister/shepherd and then to others who may have need, i.e. being a resource person.
3. recording my thoughts in a logical and retrievable scheme so that I benefit from previous study investment. (I am repeating myself but I waste a great deal of time repeating my research.

Notes or Clippings are the default mechanism for doing this
With Notes you have the option to highlight the resource / add comments associated with the resource whereas with Clippings you just "clip" the text
With Clippings, I would suggest a Clippings Document for each focus area
With Notes you can either associate them with Notebooks or Tag them. Each of them would help you in categorising information of interest.
One question, though, to consider is overlap - a note can only be assigned to a single notebook whereas it can have multiple tags associated with it
One other option to consider is Favorites - where you could set up a Favorites folder per area of interest and then drag articles, guides, searches to it.
