Everything is being highlighted!

When I open a bible and a commentary, everything on the page is highlighted. When I scroll, everything on the page is highlighted. Yet when I look at my notes, neither of the two books has a note associated with it. This just started happening a week or two ago.

When you say highlighted, do you mean that an highlighting style is being applied to the text? Can you post a screen shot, or possible a screen cast that demonstrates what you are seeing?

Don't know if this is the same as your problem, but I also experienced a strange highlighting problem a couple of days ago. I would apply a highlight and then scroll down. When I scrolled back up, a very large section was highlighted. I kept removing and reapplying the highlight trying to fix it. I have not experienced it again since that one session. I wrote it off at the time as a weird display glitch.

Where does the highlight start and stop? A Bible book boundary? It's possible that you were at the book level in your Bible and then applied a highlight to that reference range, which would then be applied to all Bible-reference-milestone-indexed resources. (Highlighting reference ranges is a new feature of the new Note system. In the old system you could highlight only text ranges.)

Right click on the highlighted text, choose "Open annotations," and that should allow you to identify the source and modify as you'd like to.

Yes, I think that a highlighting style is being applied. I made a screenshot but can't get it to post.

Look at Phil's post above. That will likely solve the problem

When I opened the annotation, the note (which referred to a general theme in a book of the Bible) contained an anchor for the book that I had added. The highlight seemed to be associated with that anchor. I'm guessing that I'll need to tag the book instead?
