Got the LAB message about free Academic Basic. Clicked the links, and it put it in my cart, but when I click on it while in my cart, it takes me to a page saying it is not a product they sell. Anyone else notice this?

I was able to checkout with it.. But what is it? It was Free..
It’s in the cart for free but it also says one or more items were removed from your cart and when you click on the upgrade it doesn’t take you anywhere for you to see what’s included in it.

The software is always "free," but you have to pay for most resources and many features. When FL releases a major new release, they withhold the new software engine for a time as an incentive to those making large purchases (and now, to those who subscribe to Faithlife Connect).
Now that the window has expired, everyone can get the new engine. This is accomplished through a free "purchase." This is one of those. It includes some "free to use, but not to own" resources (which you may already own). If there is anything in the package which you do not own, it will appear as a "temporary" license in your library.
