Incorrect order of authors in citation

The bibliographic citation for the book with the following title page lists the names of the authors in reserve order.

The Logos citation in Turabian style is listed as:

Brown, David, A. R. Fausset, and Robert Jamieson. A Commentary, Critical, Experimental, and Practical, on the Old and New Testaments: Genesis–Deuteronomy. Vol. I. London; Glasgow: William Collins, Sons, & Company, Limited, n.d.

The correct order of the names should be Jamieson, Robert, A. R. Fausset and David Brown, as shown on the title page of the book.

Actually, there are other issues with this citation as well. The title of the individual volume in the citation makes it look like a subtitle. According to Turabian 171.4.1, when citing an individual volume in a multivolume work, the title of whole set as well as the title (and author) of the individual volume should be specified as follows:

Jamieson, Robert, A. R. Fausset and David Brown. A Commentary, Critical, Experimental, and Practical, on the Old and New Testaments. Vol. 1, Genesis–Deuteronomy, by Robert Jamieson. London; Glasgow: William Collins, Sons, & Company, Limited, n.d.

I have found numerous instances where Logos does not correctly format citations. This example was particularly bad because of the reordering of authors names.

Why? It listed the authors in alphabetical order.

Turabian requires that names be listed in the order they appear on the title page of the book. Chicago, SBL, APA and most other bibliographic styles do the same. Turabian 9th edition 17.1.1 says explicitly, "Give the name of each author...exactly as it appears on the title page, and in the same order."

In times past, the value of proper citations was not understood by the powers that were. Many books were digitized for Logos without front matter and indices! Things have changed, and nowadays errors in the formatting of newer resources are actual errors.

I know for certain that Chicago and Turabian require authors to be cited as listed. This is because they recognize that publishers will often list the most widely read author first, in the event that only one author's name will fit in a reference field / software / etc.
