Release Notes
Thanks! I got the incorrect updated resources in the popup. Unfortunately I already closed it, so I can't share a screenshot.
It was showing the books I bought on 1 March as part of the monthly sale/free books etc. and not the books that were updated with today's release.

I am not having this problem. It is not showing the free book of the month I got on March 1st in the updated resources popup. However, it will show if you click on the "Resources updated in the last 7 days" link, which opens the library filtered to resources updated in the last 7 days. Maybe that's why you're seeing additional books that you purchased, if you clicked on that link.
Gracias por el trabajo, estoy sumamente agradecido y contento con esta actualización, Dios les bendiga.
No, it was showing the new resources directly in the dropdown, together with the notification of the new version, which I both closed.
I'm on a localized Logos version. Maybe that's relevant for replicating this issue.
This is a significant update. A big thanks to all the Faithlife Team!
Yes indeed. Thank you FL for working so diligently on these updates. You’ve done a wonderful and superb job.
Did they choose not to ship the cloud resources feature then?

This doesn't appear to be working correctly. When I select a date other than today, the layout opens the lectionary itself to the correct date (the one I selected) but all of the other resource panels are opened today's (March 4th) reading. I selected March 10th, therefore all of the other resource panels should be open to the "First Reading" for that day (Deut 26:4-10), but they're not. See the photo below. The Sirach reading is today's first reading.

I'll write up a case.
After closing and opening Logos a second time, the popups are back, and are now correctly showing the updated resources! Yay!
Maybe the incorrect previous popup was just a hiccup from the update... As far as I remember, I had not closed Logos since 1 March (when I bought the other resources), so maybe it still considered them as "new". Anyway, I'm glad it's working now.
She be workin' for me!!!! Faaaaaaaantastic!

Thank you for the update, there seem to be some good improvements. In other news, a lot of shortcuts in the note editor are now broken. ctrl+. and other similar short-cuts no longer do anything in the notes editor. Phil mentioned that the idea is being tossed around right now regarding a possible future addition of styles that could be user editable (with user changeable shortcuts?), were these purposely removed for that reason? Or is this just a bug?
One thing that I noticed that was good, was the notification of what is downloading and being able to access the release notes straight from that menu. The only problem with it is that it does not want to go away. I have read it like a billion times and it there is no way (that I see) to get rid of it. Still three items in the beautiful little blue ball...
Also, does it seem like there is less space for the resources that a user can add into the upper right side of the program? It used to be that I only had trouble on my 13.3in laptop, but now even on my 24in monitor there is little to no space for my favorites when I have Logos relegated to half the screen (for editing in a word processor on the other half of my screen).

Scratch that... I didn't see "x" in the corner .
A big thank you for the quick link to the release notes [:D]
It's been frustrating to have to go looking for new updates since the update to version 8. The new layout is excellent.
So should I allow this download or not? Based on the comments in this thread, it looks like I should avoid this one and wait for some more fixes.
I don't see anything in this thread that would call for not downloading it. There are some new things that don't work as some of us expect but that isn't a reason to avoid it.
Were there particular things that concerned you?
"Added Previous/Next Annotations navigation buttons to resource panels."
This is my favorite feature in 8.3. I often read a book on the iPad app and highlight along the way, then come to the desktop software and jump from highlight to highlight to review the book in my mind. Sad to see earlier it was gone in 8.0. Happy to see that it is back [:)]
