Training Teens to Use Logos
A part of my responsibilities include Bible Study for my organization (Seventh-day Adventist). We have some 7000 active members.
I am planning to design a seminar to show teens how to use their mobile devices to develop/enhance their spiritual life.
Here is what I have come up with so far:
- Using one of the apps for Bible reading.
- Reading plan of denominational resources etc.
- Proclaim and Logos.
- Hymnal on the phone
- Any other suggestions?
Mission: To serve God as He desires.

Do you intend Logos to be where they handle prayer requests or will suggest other options?
Somewhat tongue in cheek - "When to put the phone down"
More serious contribution - "How to develop curiosity, ask interesting questions and develop a desire to drink more deeply from the well of God's Word" My observation is that, particularly for young people, it is not awareness of technology that is the problem or the inability how to use it. It is the connection to their context and therefore the inclination to use it at all for that purpose.
I find it very easy to show people what Logos can do if they already have questions they want to explore.
