List Column - Active
Prior to version 8.3 the 'List' column in Notes was minimized and the full 'Edit' pane was open. Now every time I re-open Logos or change Layouts I need to minimize the 'List' column.
I typically have three or four notes tabs open and it is a little annoying having to minimize them so often.
Is this the future design or a bug that will be fixed with a future release?
If this is the design, how are other users dealing with it?
Please advise. Thank you.

When you say List column, do you mean the Filters pane that list the various facets? If so, the notes tool has never remembered the state that pane was in when closed and reopened. This has been something that was reported and discussed going back to early beta testing of the Notes tool. It is one of my pet peeves that I and others eventually stopped talking about.
In my opinion all panes and tools that include multilevel lists should either always open closed, or always open in the same state it was in when last closed. This is the behavior in some tools (e.g. guides) and should be universal behavior.

The column I am referring to is the one to the right of the 'Filters' pane, the middle column if all three columns/panes are open.
I agree, they should open in the same state as they were when they were last closed.
