Cannot Start without Crashing
I posted about this here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/1716/13531.aspx#13531
I am assuming you either are too busy to handle this now, which I understand, or you have missed it somehow.
But sure would like to participate in beta 3 testing, but cannot other than letting you know that it doesn't start in my case.

Hi Kevin,
Can you rearchive your log files into a .zip file and attach them to this thread?
Thanks,

The error causing the crash may have been caused by running the program before the updated Excerpts resource finished downloading for Beta 3. Any chance the blue Logos icon is sitting in the system tray waiting to Install Updates? (Right click on it, if there.)

No the icon is not sitting in the tray. And I am pretty sure I did not open it because it was downloading the update and I went away and left it to run on my desktop system. When I returned the next day it was finished updating I guess because the icon was gone. At that time I started it up and it crashed. And it still is.

This issue will be addressed in Beta 4, however, deleting the file below may allow you to open the program now:
- Delete the excerpts.lbsexc file found in C:\Users\Kevin\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\4yucxg52.4pg\ResourceManager\Resources\.
Let us know if that works.
Thanks,

Thanks Melissa,
You're my hero.
I'm guessing that thing is what puts the excerpts of books on the Home Page. My home page was suddenly very sparse.

Actually, you have Bradley to thank for the fix! (He's often our hero, too.)
And your excerpts will be back after a new copy of the resource is downloaded with Beta 4.
