Every time I perform the search below (without the carrots), the software crashes without exception.

What kind of search? Basic or Bible
What are you searching? Everything, All Resources, Bible
I ask because as a Bible search on all English bibles, I can't duplicate the problem although I get no hits.

Changing OR to comma allowed search to return results (plus added a Latin phrase)

It's a "Basic" search in "All Resources."
It must be a Mac issue then.

This crash should be fixed in the final release of 8.4; thanks for reporting it.
