Until Logos 8, I've been grateful for the enhancements in each new version of Logos. This time, I regret having made the change. The worst part for me is the change in how tabs work. I tend to keep three columns open, with multiple resources open in two of them (see screen shot). In version 7, the tabs would stack up and get smaller; hovering over each would reveal a pop up identifying the resource. In v8, the tabs stay larger and spread off screen; to see those off screen tabs, I have to click on the arrow buttons – sometimes 8-10 times just to reveal one tab! Ridiculous! (Used to be that programmers were all about reducing the number of clicks.)
I'm a pretty basic user: a few Bible translations, a few commentaries, and various books that I enjoy having in an electronic version. Logos 8 has made it more frustrating, not less.
