Theological Journals search cluttered
I'm one of those grandfathered in from Galaxie with our Theological Journals Library purchased, but it seems to be getting increasingly harder to do a straight journals search with each change.
Instead of a list of hits in the various journals in descending order, there would be lots of hits in Lexham Dictionary and multiple Bibles and other dictionaries that I'll need to scroll through, sometimes with no journal entries at the end of all that.
Is there a way I could just search for things only in the theological journals and nothing else?

Hi Joseph, welcome to the forums. I think the easiest way for you to do this, would be to create a collection of just your journals & then narrow your search to just that collection. You may even want to create a collection for each type of journal that you have. I hope this helps.

That's brilliant, Martin. Thanks!
Now is there a tutorial on searching by collection I could look at?

Unfortunately, it's not gone too well ... Can't seem to see the Tools>Library>Collections path. My Tools drop-down has Canvas, courses, Factbook, info, media, notes, pss explorer, and text comparison
What could have gone wrong 😔😔😔

The instructions you've been given are for the desktop software. You can't create collections on the web app.

Still trying, but the plot only thickens with the desktop software. While downloading about 2gb of updates on to my drive (C: being too small) so that I could setup Collections to use my theological journals, my computer would seize about 30 minutes into the process, and I have to reboot, and the process repeats.Isn't there a way to set collections using the web interface? If not, I think there should. Installing Logos on my slim computer is a real pain. All I want to do is to be able to search my journal collection, and I have to keep rebooting. Next question ... having setup Collections on desktop, could I search in those collections on the browser or andoid app platform?0

Sadly, the next stage is the desktop app crashes seconds into launch. 😤😔
And on the web platform, searching within Resources defined as "journal" results in a spinning wait icon.
