Logos podcast/videos

As I've mentioned in a few posts, I try to post Logos videos each week on my YouTube channel. But I am quickly finding out that I still have a lot to learn about Logos and would like to provide better content. Someone who is more knowledgeable.
With that being said, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me out with this. I'd like to do a podcast to talk about new Logos features and/or do a video with screencast software to demonstrate features, show off layouts, talk about resources that are on sale, any just anything going on in the world of Logos.
If this sounds of interest to you, I would love to talk more. Thanks!

I have been wanting to start doing a video podcast or youtube posts teaching Bible using Logos, but i am unable to find the screencast software that will capture what i am doing in Logos for integrating it into a video for podcasting or youtube. I'm on an iMac. Can anyone lead me in the right direction for software that i can use to capture my screen actions, highlight, circles, etc like Morris Proctor does for his videos? The podcasts/youtube videos will be free, i'm not interested in making money, and i'm willing to spend some money on software and hardware to make this happen. I emailed Mo, but never got a response, plus i think he is on windows and not Mac.

Very similar to what I am doing/starting. My content is also free and it is one of the avenues of content I produce. I use software called Streamlabs OBS, it is free, and it does an effective job at casting my desktop and any other windows I want to show. I then can output it to Facebook live, Youtube, etc.

I have used Jing for recording screencapture videos for classes where I needed to submit examples of my process - https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

Thank you. It appears they are discontinuine Jing, but the same company has several other products which may do what i want: Snagit and Camtasia. I'll be playing round with them. They have free trials, which is great before plunking down cash for something that doesn't do what i need. Thank you.

A really quick GOOGLE search shows that QuickTime Player (bundled with macOS - which means that you should already have it) has screen recording capability buried under a number of menu choices.
I am not at home to try this right now but you can check it out for yourself here.
I have tried using ScreenCast-O-Matic myself but find that I had audio issues that I had to take extra time to iron out running it on my Mac. (ScreenCast-O-Matic works well under Windows.)

Camtasia is probably the best software for screencasts, although it is pricey. I use both it and SnagIt.

Use OBS (https://obsproject.com/) rather than Streamlabs OBS. It is cross-platform. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube and elsewhere. They have active forums for support. For video editing there are quite a lot of powerful options available free. The "most" free, is probably Kdenlive (https://kdenlive.org/en/), but also see Davinci (https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/) or Lightworks (https://www.lwks.com/). All are cross-platform. I don't really do anything with video myself. I just browsed the topic a while back and these were definitely the most often mentioned for free.

Hi, Sorry for reply this old thread. But I’m new member there and not sure whether I can open a new thread. Could you also share some decent audio editors? (As for free ditors, I happen to see a post which may be helpful: https://www.videoproc.com/video-editor/free-video-editors-software-review.htm). I have heard something about Audacity, but it’s too difficult for me to master. Are there any easier options?
