is there a list of accepted milestone formats other than what is in the PB reference?  "page numbers, days of the year, etc"   I was hoping to find the list of the 'etc'.

Specifically I am curious if I can mark paragraphs as 1, 2, 3 etc... so I can quickly go to that paragraph in an index or reference that paragraph from an anchor.

Thanks for any help given.

Blessings!

    Welcome to the forums.

You may find what you're looking for here

Note the links to additional pages toward the top right of the linked page

    Welcome [:D]

Logos wiki => Personal Books has Syntax that includes "If you’re unsure how to find out the name of the datatype and reference, there are step-by-step instructions available." that links to => Finding the right datatype name and reference

A Digital resource can have Pages with different lengths so paragraph 1 could be page 1, paragraph 2 = page 2, ...

Logos wiki => List of Datatypes has

Volume Page Line is useful for documents that number every line.

    Keep Smiling [:)]

You have a few options here:

    1. If page numbers aren't important in your document, you can just start a new page every paragraph. It won't affect the look of your document in any way. This is the approach I took with the Dictionary of Christianity and the Bible (a new page for every article).
    2. You should be able to use Word hyperlinks to jump between different parts of your document, although I suggest you test this before committing to it.
    3. You can use one of the other "Page Number" datatypes, as KS4J said: https://wiki.logos.com/List_of_Datatypes#Page_number_datatypes
    4. If English headwords aren't important, you can use Headwords for each paragraph (e.g. "Para 1"). This slightly disadvantage of this is that you'd have to type the Headword exactly in the reference box if you wanted to jump around. You wouldn't just be able to type "3" and it jump to paragraph 3.
