Disabling the Carousel Feature

When I am reading a resource, I sometimes like to use the down arrow key to scroll, but inadvertently hit a Left or Right key, which moves me to another resource. If I double or triple tap, I'm two or three resources away.
I really never use the carousel feature in Logos--I don't browse my resources in that manner. Is there any way to shut it off, or otherwise disable it?

It sounds like what you are scrolling through are the parallel resources. There is no setting in Logos to toggle this on and off.

Probably. I'll have to figure out a work-around.

The idea was good; the execution poor; the design standard terrible (a false move and user difficulty recovering).
What is interesting, is they had the same flaw in Libronix, and carefully reproduced it into the Logos series, with special enhancements.

I use the carousel feature for cycling through commentaries. The problem I have is that typically my commentary will be in a link set with my Bible. If the new target commentary doesn't have a matching "anchor"(?) or reference, then the Bible is yanked away to the nearest reference of the new commentary. Using the left arrow to get back does not restore the original reference in the Bible or the prior commentary.
If all the commentaries make comments about the current Biblical reference, then this is not problem. But if it is an obscure verse, then going to a new commentary can drag the link set away to a different verse never to return. [:(]

Whatever its flaws, I use this feature to great benefit (in L3, L5, and L7), so I want to be sure no one gets the idea that this is an unwanted feature that has outlived its usefulness. If improvements must come, TREAD LIGHTLY AND DO NO HARM.

I've had this problem too, but the back button/panel history usually lets you get back to where you were. (Doesn't it?)

+1. It's a tremendously useful feature for easily and quickly cycling through commentaries.

I don't use this feature, but I'd like to. Is there a way to control the order of resources?

I wouldn't want to take it away from anyone, but a way to toggle it on or off would be nice.

I also use this feature all the time and have noticed the quirk mentioned by David above.

The closest we can get to turning it "off" at this point is to create a collection with only one additional resource and then setting the PR menu to that collection, effectively making a 'really tiny carousel'.

Yes, the order is controlled via prioritization in the library.
