Using double quote in a Collection name crashes Logos 8
I found an apparent bug in Logos 8, that didn't exist before. If you use a double quote (") in the title of a Collection (ie. Wiersbe's "Be" Series), then select that collection from the Library, Logos then crashes (closes).
I had two Collections using double quotes in the name. I changed the double quotes in those collection names to single quotes, and solved (worked around) the problem.
I know creating and using Collections is somewhat old school, and not that important anymore with the powerful Library search tools in Logos 8. But I have been using Logos since version 3, and still like Collections. And have used double quotes (") in collection names forever.
I use other special characters in collection names without issues, such as [ ] ( ) - ~ : ' , /
I am using:
- Logos 8.3 SR-3, 8.3.0.0034
- Win 7 Pro SP1

Thank you for reporting this, Ron. I can duplicate this bug. I am filing a case so that this can be fixed in a future update.
Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.

Joe,
I created a thread with logs in the beta forum earlier today: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/180417.aspx , since it crashes the latest beta as well. Over there, Jack confirmed the crash is on Mac, too.
Have joy in the Lord!
