Library Sorting Bug
- Load Library
- Switch to cover view
- Sort by 'Title'
- Filter by any element on the LHS
- Sorting reverts to 'Author'
Expected behaviour ... filtering respects the user's choice of sort and does not revert to 'author' sorting .
The same seems to be true of the Tiled view ... and regardless of the initial usr's choice, reverts to author sorting.

Confirm your bug report with a twist. My switched sort order to author. Perhaps because—when I first switched to cover view—then initial sort order was Title.

I cannot reproduce this on 8.4 Beta 4, can you confirm whether or not you can still reproduce this? Thank you.

It seems to be working as expected now ... Thank you.
BTW. When signing on to make this post, my name and password were accepted (and correct!) ... but I was redirected to a message 'this login screen has expired' after the password phase.

I can still reproduce this with 8.4 Beta 4 on Mac OS 10.14.4
