Search Every mention of Resurrection
I would like to get all the references (including words relating to and metaphors) to the Resurrection (of Jesus, of the saints and then of the lost), from Acts through Revelation. I am looking to see the importance placed on this doctrine, in these books and letters.
I was hoping to use this same search set up for each other part of the Commission, mentioned in Luke, e.g., preaching of repentance and remission of sin...

Not disagreeing, but you'd need to make assumptions concerning 'the life' as being resurrection. The alternative in 2nd Temple, was no-death (earthly kingdom). James is a good example.

Using the search term "<Sense ~ to resurrect (another)> OR <Sense ~ resurrection> OR {Section <Culture Resurrection>}" could be an interesting place to start
The two sense terms are derived from the Bible Sense Lexicon - it's worth checking that for other options.
Please post back if this doesn't make sense!

There are a couple of other senses you'd probably want in addition to those Graham suggested. You can see them by looking at the Factbook entry on Resurrection. That also gives you easy access to the Cultural Concept that Graham also mentioned.
The Factbook entry (under domain) will also remind you that it's possible to think of resurrection in two different ways (i.e. resurrection of Jesus/Lazarus/Talitha, etc. but also resurrection at the end of time.) You may have to manually untangle the two.

Mark, I am not much of a Facebooker, and I did not find the article you mentioned.

George - Mark was referring to the Logos Factbook Tool, not to Facebook,
Does that help at all?

You will want to see N. T. Wright's argument for the concept in The Resurrection of the Son of God, pages 209-479. Ideally this should be read in the context of the entire volume and perhaps with the prior one too (Jesus and the Victory of God), but that might be a bit much depending on one's purposes.
If nothing else, you can probably use the concordance tool to see what verses Wright discusses in that range.

Also metaphorical resurrection and literal resurrection, as Wright mentions.

I am trying to find all the references to resurrection, as some mentioned, end time resurrection. I am not looking for reanimation (Lazarus, who died again), but resurrection that last forever, e.g., Jesus.

Thanks, John, for the information. I did use the sense and did get a few more, but some were questionable.
