Undestanding the rational about Bible Word Study numbers
Hi everyone,
I am not understanding some numbers on results of a Bible Word Study.
Please see the image below:
For "bara' " I have 48 occurrences. Then going to the senses section I get the distribution of the 48 occurrences into different meanings. So in the part "2" I understand that in all the 48 occurrences of "bara' " 30 of them has the meaning "to create. Now, on the other side, on part "3" I have 30/55. Looking at the Bible Sense Lexicon tool I see that the total for "to create" sense is 55. I think I can get the rational of what is going on here. Now look at the other case below:
So, why the counting of the Lemma is giving me 51 (part 1), and at part 2 I get 53? Things get worse with an important word like Elohim. Can anyone help me understand that?

I believe because the word in Gen 1:1 has three different senses associated with it

Thanks Graham for your suggestion. It makes sense. I will keep studying it to verify is this is really the case.
