I would like to link a map resource to the Biblical text. Is this possible? For example, I am currently studying the Gospel of Luke. As I read about Jesus going from place to place, I'd like to see where he is on a map. Can someone recommend a resource for me to buy/use? Thanks.

Hi Michael - and welcome to the forums

I would like to link a map resource to the Biblical text. Is this possible? For example, I am currently studying the Gospel of Luke. As I read about Jesus going from place to place, I'd like to see where he is on a map. Can someone recommend a resource for me to buy/use? Thanks.

One option to look at is the Atlas Tool in Logos in a link set with your Bible - details on link sets are at https://wiki.logos.com/Linking_Resources

It isn't perfect but the Atlas Tool is designed to sync with changes in the Bible - so I get results as below

    and then

If you have access to the Atlas Tool it's worth seeing if it gives you what you need

Thank you, Graham. That was exactly what I was looking for. I have it linked to my biblical text, and it is working great. Thanks again.

    Wondering aloud:

Does the Atlas Maps visual filter (in Bronze & Full Feature Set) use the bible index of the Atlas, or is it tied to Places tagging? I couldn't find much information on Atlas Maps. Either method might give the same results, but maybe not. It seems to appear only in the more fully tagged bible versions.
