Help Understanding Shared Guides

When I DL a public Guide Doc, I am noticing any "Collection" or "Commentary" sections are generic. The attached pic shows 8 Collections sections that have "All Resources". This certainly couldn't be correct, is it? I would assume the creator intended to have specified collections used in their guide that are not transferring with the guide.

Is this a bug? An unforseen shortcoming? An Intended function?

I was hoping to share a personal guide with some friends but if my Collection and Commentary sections are generic, there's no real use to sharing it with them.

Before testing may I ask, did you have collections with the original names of the collections? Or another way to put it did all collections go to all or only those that did not find an appropriate collection?

I currently have some personally created collections and have Mark Barnes collection sets (just updated them earlier today per his forum thread.)

i went to the public docs and peruses through the public Custom guides, then downloaded the pictured guide.

Then I ran the passage search and all the custom guide sections pulled from “All resources” By default.

I did not not see any notes or indication that I needed any specific custom collections to download in order for it to work properly. Nothing additional downloaded when I received the custom passage guide Either. I hope that makes sense - let me know if that’s not clear or if it is not answering the question you are asking.

Looking at your questions again - yes, all those collections defaulted to All.

None went to any custom collection and if the guide is looking for a specific collection I may need downloaded, there is no doscernable way for me to see what collection I need to download in order for it to function as intended.

I'm not a current LearnLogos customer but from what I can see, it looks like there are LearnLogos collections that are probably what are intended. But LearnLogos would have to confirm. It makes sense to me that if you do not have the required collection, the section is set to all. But it would take some time to verify that.
