Certain layouts seem to stop the ability to change number of columns in a resource
This is with Logos 8.4 beta 4 on Windows 10
With the layout shown below, I can't change the number of columns on the Bible outlined in red. If I float the window I can then change the number of columns.
Does anyone else see the same thing?

It worked for me with no problem ... although it refocused at the pericope boundary ... I assume you meant using the kebab menu ...

Hi Graham,
I'm not able to reproduce this either. Is that layout taking up the entire application window resource area? I just want to make sure I was trying to reproduce it. The resource panel scaling did affect how many columns I could use (i.e. I had to reduce it a bit to make it display 5 columns on my screen). Let me know if you can consistently reproduce it.

After a reboot (I had turned my computer off) this started working again on 8.4 beta 4
