Scrolling sermon document from a touch screen
Hello. I have a Lenovo Yoga laptop which is able to fold back and be used as a tablet. I thought about trying to use this to preach from much like someone would use an iPad. When I try to scroll by swiping with my finger it wants to highlight in the document. Scrolling with my finger works with my Bible. Any ideas to make this work in the sermon document? Thanks.

I'm getting the same result with my surface. Logos needs work on touch screens. Perhaps in the next version?

I have the Lenova as well and want to use it for the same thing. However, I can't get the two-finger scroll to work on the touch-pad either. The scrolling works in every other program except Logos. I can't find any settings for it. HELP PLEASE!!!

We've been asking for this for 9 years! it is the 2nd highest vote count, yet we continue to languish in the desert.
Please cast your votes here (Faithlife has told us that these forums are for users, but that developers pay attention to UserVoice)

Logos Customer Support had me contact Microsoft to do a Track Pad update. I don't quite understand why this update needed to come from Microsoft and not Logos, but it worked.

This would be a good thing to have posted. How does one contact Microsoft?? Is this for Windows 10?? Do we go to Device manager and update a trackpad driver?? Do we call Microsoft?? If so, what number?
Please pass along this information. Was the update successful? Does it work like all other applications now?
Thanks in advance for sharing the information.

You can go to Microsoft.com and type in drivers and follow their directions.
Or, on your computer, Go to Device Manager. If you don't know how to get to Device Manager, Go to Settings and type in "Drivers." Then click on Device Manage, then click on Mice and Pointing Device, then click on Driver and then click on Update Driver.
It ought to update it automatically. Be sure and reboot your computer afterwards in order to make it of affect.
I didn't have to Uninstall it first. If it doesn't work, I would then Uninstall the Touchpad and then Reinstall it and it will automatically choose the latest driver. - I hope that helped. - Blessings

Just to be clear, I am talking about touching the screen to scroll. I can get it to scroll with the trackpad. If something is read-only in Logos, touching to scroll works just fine. Maybe Logos can add a tab to make a sermon document read-only so that it will scroll with a swipe of a finger on the screen.

Thank you for your reply. However, under mouse and other pointing devices, I do not have a Touchpad entry.
I am using a Microsoft Surface Book and a Microsoft Surface Go.

Yes, I am referring to both, Touchpad and the Screen. I have the same Lenovo Yoga laptop and neither the touchpad nor the screen would scroll while in Logos. After I updated the driver and rebooted, it works fine.
