BUG? TOC location indicator not updating

In the following example, I realised after working in a section for a while (incl., highlighting and taking notes) that the side indicator still shows a section I was previously working on (see screenshot):

    I prefer the title to  be  bold  Not used to the little red indicator

    I've experienced the issue a few times, but it is not consistent
