Can I delete Logos4 folder files?
I'm a long time Logos user, and went through all versions on the Mac. I just discovered that I have a folder in my users/library/applications/Logos4 that is 59.63 GB in size. Is my current install of Logos 8 using files from that folder, or am I safe to delete it? Thanks to whoever is able to point me in the right direction!

Most probably this is your current install of Logos 8 - don't delete it unless you have an alternative location with a /Logos folder of at least this size..

I'm almost positive that this is your current install of Logos 8 and is not duplicated elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply. After reading your input, I don't see another Logos folder with GB's of content, so I'll leave it alone. Thanks again!

You already have the answer to your direct question, but the answer is "no." On windows, FL is able to rename the folder (at least with new installations). For a long, technical reason, the folder on Mac must remain "Logos 4" (even for new installations).

Unless you reinstall the whole app, which I would probably do. That way, you would know that there are no junk, because Logos had history of keeping old/deleted books and etc...
I love clean installs. No matter what OS I am using, about every two years, I reinstall everything. I hate to drag old issues, bugs, errors and in your case "Logos 4" and etc.

Clean installs are good for all the reasons you expressed... but will not fix this issue. A decision made by faithlife a LONG time ago has doomed all macOS installations to be "Logos 4."
