I have a pre-pub that is about to drop, and want to evaluate if I really should dig in to keep it or if I will survive letting it go (j/k).

TDOT presents an encyclopedic and scholarly lexicon for the Hebrew. I am decidedly in the camp of those who are serious about adding this volume to their library. Since TDOT is already so comprehensive I wonder what new information does this particular volume add to the existing volumes?
It’s the Aramaic part of the TDOT. The current set available is for Hebrew words.
I'd say pass on it, because when the set goes on sale again, you can get the 16th volume at a dynamic price which should be close to what it is on pre-pub. I cancelled my pre-pub.
Weighing the merits of both previous posts. I think I'll wait also. Thanks, DAL and Keith!
But it will keep being sold as a separate volume, right?. The full set could be on sale and not this volume. Why not keeping the prepub and giving it a try? There is a full month to return it.
Given that there aren't many high quality Aramaic resources, I consider this as significant. The list price has already inched up again
Logos is my only legitimate spending 2 Timothy 4:13.
Manuel,
Your decision is up to you. This new volume completes the set and is dynamically priced, thus it will be available along with the set. However, you are most likely correct that FL will continue to offer it as a single volume. In any case, I elect to wait. The Aramaic, though interesting, is not a dire need on my list.
