Bug: Local links no longer work in the new notes :(

Hi. Local links that I have made in the previous notes system no longer work in the new notes.  By local, I mean links to files & folders on my hard drive.

eg: file:\\wdmycloudex2\Bible Study\Psalms  (my NAS)

or:  file:///C:\Users\Willy\Documents (my actual HDD)

They continue to work in the old notes but not in the new system.  And it doesn't matter if they were converted from the old notes or if I create them anew. Either way, it doesn't work.   

I would imagine this is an easy fix?
