Reduced Performace With Update?

Has anyone else noticed a reduced performance on iOS with the Logos 8 update?  My iPod touch is taking much longer to switch resources, notes do not open in a resource, and the "press to lookup" in the resource often doesn't work...

No. How old is your device? How much free space? Have you performed a clean install recently?

About 4-5 years old, basically no free space, and no I have not performed a clean install recently.  But I just updated the app to 8 two days ago after putting it off for awhile, and I was dismayed to see that the performance dramatically changed compared to when it was 7.

    Hello Br. Anthony.

JT gets us thinking about how technology moves forward over a few, short years.  When looking at the iPod Touch, although it is still supported at the start of 2019, it is a little dated.  I'm not seeing any official minimum specs for the mobile version of Logos/Verbum on the website but, it seems that your description of 4-5 years with no real room is getting to the end of the usability spectrum.  Perhaps you could clear out some content in favor of Verbum and have a somewhat better performance experience.  Ultimately, it would be good if you could update your device.
