Any hint when we get some more of the "Topics Goodies"?

I did a [Search All Text Entire Library] for "peter" and a few items came up in the "Topics" portion of the results. Nice!

However, I was watching the network traffic at the time and noticed that my PC asked topics.logos.com about "peter" and the answer was MASSIVE with all kinds of great stuff, but almost none of it got displayed by 4.0dB2.

So, the question is, might we get more of the results please?

Yup, it's no better than Wikipedia in quality. But the good news is that, as with Wikipedia, you can edit it too and fix it if you find an error in it. Since it's just lists of resources for additional reading, it's not likely to erupt into controversy as people edit the entries back and forth to state their particular side of it, like what happens on Wikipedia.

Yes - I was thinking about Wikipedia too. So it works as well as anything else thats a collection of input from "random" people.

One topic I looked at on topics.logos.com was LOADED with lots of problems and content I have big issues with. But tonight would be a bad time to explore making any changes there. Way better to add/edit something after careful reflection, rather than continue the war thats already there.

My approach has been to not remove other's entries even if I would use insulting terms to describe them to my friends (gullible, illogical, bigoted, one-sided, wrong-headed ... I'm sure we all have our own set of terms). Instead I add resources that present another side - often sides I don't agree with but that I believe to be reasonable presentation of the materials. The reading lists created recently are showing a real understanding of the function of the wiki and are quite well done; this was not necessarily true in terms of early attempts - including some of my own.

I think I agree with you.

An "Edit War" does not really serve others. Better to add "the other side" and let the user of the results be able to decide and get a balanced offering.

I must go back to topics.logos.com as a later time and see if I can add some balance when I feel I have something to add. I would encourage anyone reading this to please do so also. Then we all win!
