Sorting notes

When my notes switched over to Logos 8, it created "Notebook:Bible Study" in which I have collected 2,331 results over the years from various sermons. Whenever I add a new note to this notebook, with "by Notebook" checked in the list for sorting selection, it puts them at the bottom of the notes. There is no option to sort by reference.

If I go to the "Filters" tab on the left, and select "Reference:Bible", I have 2,329 results. With "by Reference" selected in the list for sorting selection, all my notes are sorted out accurately according to reference.

But when I am studying, and select a note in my Bible, it automatically goes to the Notebook:Bible Study which is not sorted. Is there a way to sort this "by Reference" so I can see all the notes chronologically? When I am viewing, for example, 1 Peter 4:1 in my notes, I would like to see the older notes I have around it without having to scroll all the way up.

I have tried to keep my notes as "Notebook:Bible Study" and "Reference Bible", so they are sorted out properly, but when I select a note icon from one of my Bibles, it leave this one open and opens a new note tab with only "Notebook: Bible Study" selected, not in order.

Hope this makes sense. :)

When the Notes Tool is filtered by Notebook, sorting by reference is not currently available. You can only sort by Date created, Date Modified or the order in which they appear in the notebook.

If you apply the Reference: Bible filter, you'll be able to sort by Reference.
