Removing user highlights from resources

Well, I've done all the searches I can come up with and it seems no one has asked this question.
How do I remove the highlight underscores in resources? These are not my highlight, but highlights that show how many have highlighted that particular area of text. They are distracting to me when I'm reading.
I'm glad folks have found those areas important to them, but I prefer to do my own highlighting.
Thanks,
James

You are likely seeing something called popular highlights. You can turn that off in the Visual Filters menu. That is the three dots that form a triangle in the resource pane

Thanks, Fred, that did the trick. Don't think I had seen the popular highlights box, I thought it had to do with community tags but that wouldn't work.
I selected the "do not show..." and that removed them even from the course resources that have no three dots. That really helps.
